Did you know the word prom is short for promenade, the formal, introductory parading of guests at a party. The prom can be traced back to the simple co-ed banquets that 19th century American universities held for each year's graduating class. the hotness right now is Florals, Florals and Florals along with two piece gowns and flaunty dresses.
Prom time is once again upon us and as we scurry with our beautiuful children from store to store, trying to pick out that dynamic dress or dapper tux, we cant help but ponder how fast our babies grow up!
April 7th 2017 owner Rose Kaiser of Dimensional Designs Salon and Spa and owner Heather Kramer of Colonial Bouquet Flower Shop hosted a amazing event at The La Bove Grande in LakeHurst NJ, filled with whats hot for guys and dolls just for this annual occasion.
Beautiful Models graced the runway with hair and makeup done by the talented staff of Dimensional Designs, who worked hard to make the models look glitzy and glamorous on the runway without a hair out of place.
Starting the show was the ever so popular soft and cozy designs of LuLa Roe with fashion consultant Kristin Titus. Casual but elegant Lula Roe is great for those hot summer days for comfort and style.
Adorable cocktails dresses and summer maxi's in lace and cotton were supplied by D. Monaco Designs Boutique from Point Pleasant Beach, a unique boutique from the Jersey Shore!
For the men, Chazmatazz of Toms River presented suits and tuxedo's looking fresh and clean on our handsome male models along with debonaire bowties.
Monica Karinne Couture was also in the house with her elegant dresses made with crushed velvet and beautiful flowing tulle a prom favorite!
Lets not forget the flowers!! Colonial Bouquet Florist of Lakehurst NJ, added that special touch on each model with hand made corsages, headbands, boutonniere's and new on the runway floral ringlets.
Bringing in the end with a glamorous finale was elegant gowns and dresses by New York City Glitz from Pine Beach, NJ, a must see boutique for prom and all special occasions.
Also surrounding the runway were wonderful vendors from AFLAC Insurance to the dramatic Riddlesbrood Touring Theatre Company promoting their small businesses and networking with models and guests.
So go ahead and spend that special time with your babies and get out there and see what hot and whats not for prom 2017!
